In Jimbo pulp game tonight we continued our exploration of the hidden valley and...

* Became overlords of a tribe of dog-headed men, thanks having killed and beheaded their chief. None have us have any Persuasion, so when Jimbo called for a social conflict we improvized -- head thrown at warriors, followedy by our weird scientist going invisible, and then making his head appear to bow down before the other party members. Victory by five tokens in 3 rounds. Smile

* Appointed six dog-men as our royal guard. They have been adorned in golden necklaces (looted) to indicate their station.

* Moved on toward our goal (only a day's march away), where we encountered a village of Israelites and made friends with them. The dog-men and Israelites are now allies. Plans are afoot to unite all teh friendly tribes and go conquer the evil tribes.

* Visited an Israelite mother giving birth and, having travelled to the village from the east, bestowed on the child gold coins (looted from a pyramid), aftershave, and antiseptic cream. The child was named Joshua.

* Found a second magic stick. Armed with the "Stick of Healing" and "Staff of Hopefully Ultimate Doom", we are preparing to assault the huge pyramid guarded by birdmen and snakemen. Death and glory await!!

Job done and ass whupped! Magic staff destroyed, snake men slaughtered in droves, half a stick of dynamite proved a very effective bird man scarer (6 dead out of 10), sliding down a pyramid resulting in no damage after the rope snapped. Fanhard got mauled by a giant chicken-man, but survived, then got his head battered by a rock. One dog-man poisoned. No lasting injuries due to magic healing stick (which we no longer have). Back home for tea and medals!

I now have to present a paper to the faculty on my adventures without artefacts and with only photographs to back up our story. As i am next in line for the top job, I may just drop the camera over the side of the boat on the way back up the Nile Wink
